The civics test for naturalization consists of 10 questions out of 100 possible questions. The test is administered in English. You must correctly answer at least six (6) 6 of the questions. You can review these questions at Civics (History and Government) Questions for the Naturalization Test.
If you are 65 or older and have been a U.S. permanent resident for at least 20 years, you may select the language in which you wish to take the test. In addition, you only need to study 20 of the 100 civics questions. See Civics Questions for the 65/20 Exemption.
For additional resources to prepare for the civics test, see Study Materials for the Civics Test.
